I am similarly DISTURBED and very unhappy with what is effect a complete absence of customer service. You look after your paid subscribers first! I've had 7 Explores in three years and I'm asked to subsidise some free accounts who are Explored like clockwork every 16-19 days.Īre you kidding me Flickr? No wonder it's losing subscriptions. They'd get more people signing up to PRO if they limited the number of photos on a free account (1000 is ridiculous!), stopped people opening multiple free accounts under different names, and stopped given the lion's share of Explores to free accounts. Too many benefits given to free accounts. Here is a staff response on pricing concerns posted Oct 28, 2022: Waiting for some kind of discount to get back to a pro account. I must say I find it too expensive as is for what it is. And no, don't you dare say anything about the pandemic. I would like to know why Flickr feels this cost increase is justified. In some, there's been no discussion activity for years. I also noticed that some of the groups I'm in are dormant. I find that months go by and I don't even log in here. I noticed that the price has nearly doubled in just four years, and frankly, I don't know if I use this account enough to justify that kind of cost.
